Not because we're selling sunflower seeds. Not because we're selling a spit stick. But because of who that person is.

That's the kind of person who built the West. The kind who built this country. The kind who built our family.

My grandpa spent much of his life on a ranch in Wyoming. Long days. Early mornings. Broken equipment. Unpredictable weather. Livestock that didn't care what kind of day you were having. The work was hard, and there was always more of it waiting tomorrow.

Like many ranchers, he always had a bag of sunflower seeds nearby. You'd find them in his pickup, in the shop, or riding along as he checked fences, hauled hay, fixed equipment, or worked cattle. Something that helped pass the miles. Something that kept him company through long days. Something that helped him stay focused when the work needed to get done.

Looking back, those seeds represented something bigger. Perseverance. Responsibility. The determination to keep moving forward no matter what the day brought. They were there while he worked to keep the ranch going, while he provided for his family, while he carried burdens nobody else could see, while he built a life worth passing on. That's the legacy that inspired Huska.

The people we admire aren't chasing attention. They're chasing something meaningful.

Every one of those is a pursuit. And every pursuit demands something from us.

The willingness to keep going when nobody is watching.

That's why Huska exists. To create products that support people who are moving toward something worthwhile — whether that's a bag of sunflower seeds, a spit stick in your truck, apparel on your back, or products we haven't even imagined yet. Every product we make serves the same purpose: to support the pursuit.
